PROFILE

Peichen Tsai is a member of Taipei Bar since 1999.

Being an independent corporate counsel in Taiwan, Peichen Tsai focused her practice on corporate transaction and relative dispute resolution, in particular technology license, OEM or ODM supply, distribution and franchising. She provides legal services to numerous Taiwanese small or medium size companies engaging in international business.

Peichen Tsai had served as a General Counsel for China Motor Corporation for more than five years, during which she conducted various contract negotiations with Mitsubishi Motors, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, and other local or international parts or system developer, for projects both in Taiwan and China.

Earlier in her career she was an attorney-at-law at the law firm of Su, Chen & Associates in Taipei, practicing on a full range of litigations, including unlawful business practices, fraud, general liability, medical malpractice and employment-related dispute.

Prior to entering private practice, Peichen Tsai served as Legal Coordinator to Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission and Supervising Investigator in Control Yuan (Taiwanese Ombudsman), which are both central governmental agencies in Taiwan. As such, she contributed to the elaboration of laws and regulations and had to deal with political cases (investigations in corruption cases).

The multiple experiences Peichen Tsai has gained by working for governmental authorities, law firms and as in house counsel enable her to define the issue of a problem within a minimum rampup time, and to provide valuable legal advice to the clients.

She speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
